To purchase a handgun in Maryland, state law requires that you must first have a Handgun Qualification License issued by the Maryland State Police. You must first complete a 4-hour training course with a Qualified Handgun Instructor prior to license application. This class meets all MSP requirements for licensure and proudly includes much more information necessary to purchase, store, and use a handgun safely. We will also teach effective learning strategies to ensure you can continue to improve your shooting on your own and vet future instructors should you choose to continue your firearms journey.

Guns, ammunition, and protective equipment is provided with the course fee as required.
